Terms of Service
By commissioning me you agree to the following rules outlines below.
Failure to follow them may result in blacklisting and denying future commisions from the individual.
Failure to follow them may result in blacklisting and denying future commisions from the individual.
A. General Termsi. All custom art is to be used by the comissioner solely. The commissioner may use the art how they see fit. The commissioner may not use the art for their own promotional purposes, and may not claim the art as their own.
ii. Credit (name, watermark, etc.) is never to be removed from completed artwork. The artwork is copyrighted to the artist, and the commissioner has paid for partial rights to the work. iii. Art may be traded and follow characters (tags, large art, etc.) iv. I reserve the right to decline any commission for any reason I see fit. v. I will not draw anything sexual, hateful, offensive or anything else I deem vulgar. Do not ask me to copy another artist's design or style, nor use it as "inspiration". vi. While my usual work is with canines, I can work with a bunch of different species. I've never done anthro, but I can give it a go if you're willing to put your faith in me. B. Edits & Deadlinesi. General edits: I don't mind fixing/editing small things or things that I may have missed or done wrong.
ii. Larger edits (such as lineart changes) may require a fee, unless the error was on my part. iii. Litter pup edits: I do not mind adding small things to pups (freckles, smaller markings, etc.), but I will not do large changes or completely redo the design. If there are markings/specifics you must have, please put them in the form. I will also not make edits to the lines unless it is something I have to correct due to my own error. iv. Custom characters are created based on the details given to me in the form. Be sure to have all details you want to have on your design in your form. I will change small things once finished and allow up to two rounds of changes but any further changes will be an extra charge or refused. iii. Art may not be edited in any way by anyone other than me. When receiving a commission, you have 2 weeks to request a change for free, anything past this will require a fee for alterations. See section B for rules on edits. v. Maximum time required for completion of a commission is about a 4-8 week turn around (without the option for a full refund). After this time has passed the commissioner will be granted the option of acquiring a partial refund. If it's been a decent amount of time, feel free to message me and politely ask me how things are going. I don't mind giving updates. Additionally, a rush fee of 20% will be implemented onto the total cost of a commission if the requested deadline is less than 4 weeks. If you have a deadline for your commission, be sure to mention it before your payment has been sent and the deadline cannot always be guaranteed, but I will try my best. |
C. Paymenti. Payment is required in full before beginning your commission.
ii. It must be received within 48 hours of post/completing your form. iii. When claiming a slot, you have 24 hours to complete and post your form. Failure to do so will render your claim void, and it will go back up for sale. iv. USD via PayPal is the only method of payment that is currently accepted. Virtual currencies may be an option at very rare times. v. In the event of auctions, only bid what you have on hand. Withdrawing bids may result in temporary blacklisting. vi. Payment plans can be an option for larger purchases. Commissions will not be started until the amount has been paid. Plans must be discussed before ordering, approved by the artist. vii. When sending a payment: always send as Goods & Services. Include a note of who the payment is coming from, and do not include a shipping address - failure to do so may result in refunding your payment. viii. eChecks, Venmo, Snail Mail, Apple/Google Pay and other services are not considered valid methods of payment and will be refunded. The commissioner will be required to resend payment in the appropriate manner. ix. Refunds will only be given if an error was on my part. Don't order if you aren't sure of the commission. D. Litter Puppiesi. Puppies may be sold only in the same currency in which they were purchased
ii. A maximum of two (2) puppies may be ordered per litter. iii. When selling a puppy in USD, there is a 50/50 cost division rule in effect: If a puppy is sold for higher than double its purchase price, the excess of the price double must be split 50/50 with the artist (Pas). Ex: You buy a puppy for $5 - double of this is $10. You sell the puppy for $20 - the excess of the purchase price doubled is $10. This $10 must be split 50/50 - you keep $5, Pas get's $5. You leave the sale with $15, Pas leaves with $5. *This rule applies both to puppies sold in their original litter auction AND puppies kept by the commissioner for a period and then sold after the auction. If the puppy in question was kept by the commissioner and has a good amount of art, the total price of the art can be deducted from total price sold. E. Custom Charactersi. Characters may be sold for equal or less than their accumulated value only. i.e. Purchase price + total price of art purchased for the character. If sold for more, the artist has the right to request a 50/50 split of excess profit.
ii. Characters may be sold, traded, gifted, and bred. iii. Credit me for the design on any new references of the character. |
